Hans, Thanks for the page pointer, I'll make sure that it's saved. But, I looked at the table for discipline 3 and category 1 and it doesn't have any reference to parameters 3 1 98 or 3 1 99. When I dump the MPE data for 3 1 98 it has values 0.0, 4.0E-5, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 8.0E-5, 8.0E-5, 8.0E-5, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 8.0E-5, 8.0E-5, 8.0E-5, 8.0E-5, 8.0E-5, 1.2E-4, 1.2E-4 .... According a MPE page http://www.eumetsat.int/Home/Main/Access_to_Data/Meteosat_Meteorological_Products/Product_List/SP_1119538666663 it say these parameters are standard deviation and correlation coefficient.
