patrick, it seems to be running ok now, the ua2nc decoder couldn't find the ncgen utility needed to make the netcdf file. i put ncgen and ncdump into the ~/decoders dir. the invocation is: decoders/bin/ua2nc etc/raob.cdl . 200412 < rawDataInputFile didn't see any raw data files on your system. robb...
