Tom, Actually I do think it could be the perl version, I mentioned that last week. Ask Doug to install the (5.005) version. There could be a problem with the eof() function in version 5.8.0. Just yesterday I found a bug in perl. Keep me informed when the other version of perl is installed. Robb...
