Ben,
Your question is most appropriate, the techies were just talking about
this problem with ensemble model data at lunch. At this time we didn't
come up with a good solution. So your approach of splitting the data is a
reasonable solution until we figure out a better solution. At this
point, we didn't see any easy/fast solution to the problem, it might be
some major rewrites to the code.
