Re: NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification (Wednesday, May 14, 2025) (RDS)



Apologies, the date and time were incorrect in the body of the previous email. Please see the corrected information below.

Verizon will be performing software maintenance on equipment to ensure Network reliability on Wednesday, May 14.

Start Time: 07:00 PM CDT Wednesday, May 14, 2025 (00:00 UTC, Thursday, May 15, 2025)
Duration: 30 minutes
Event: Network maintenance (RDS/Norman path)

The expected downtime is 30 minutes, but could occur anytime in a 6 hour window beginning at 0000 UTC. This will only affect the RDS path. No service interruption via the TDS path is anticipated.

Please keep BOTH NL2 connections (TDS/Ashburn & RDS/Norman) up to avoid data flow interruption.

NEXRAD View - WSR-88D monitoring by site location
SPG View - TDWR Status via the NWS SPG
SERVER View - NL2 server & Network status (Shows site connectivity and Ashburn vs Norman Data flow)
CONTROL View - Shows data latency for each NL2 server
LDM View - Level II Data flow from site
