NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification (Wednesday, May 14, 2025) (RDS)



Verizon will be performing software maintenance on equipment to ensure Network reliability on Wednesday, May 14.

Start Time: 07:00 PM CDT Wednesday, May 5, 2025 (00:00 UTC, Thursday, May 6, 2025)
Duration: 30 minutes
Event: Network maintenance (RDS/Norman path)

The expected downtime is 30 minutes, but could occur anytime in a 6 hour window beginning at 0000 UTC. This will only affect the RDS path. No service interruption via the TDS path is anticipated.

Please keep BOTH NL2 connections (TDS/Ashburn & RDS/Norman) up to avoid data flow interruption.

NEXRAD View - WSR-88D monitoring by site location
SPG View - TDWR Status via the NWS SPG
SERVER View - NL2 server & Network status (Shows site connectivity and Ashburn vs Norman Data flow)
CONTROL View - Shows data latency for each NL2 server
LDM View - Level II Data flow from site
