Mohan, Yes I feel your pain. I have been trying to have JOSS's CODIAC eliminate this "unique" naming of files for ftp download..to no avail. The simple way to get the data in .gem format properly is to order the tape. If time is a constraint the other way is to have myself get the files from the database and put them on ftp for you without going through CODIAC. This data would, more than likely, be in grib, so you would have to pass it through dcgrib2 for gempak use. Let me know which road you would like to travel, and I will proceed. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience, -Jeff ____________________________ _____________________ Jeff Weber address@hidden Unidata Support PH:303-497-8676 NWS-COMET Case Study Library FX:303-497-8690 University Corp for Atmospheric Research 3300 Mitchell Ln http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/jweber Boulder,Co 80307-3000 ________________________________________ ______________________ On Thu, 11 Apr 2002, Mohan Ramamurthy wrote: > Jeff, > > I have downloaded several data files from COMET Case Study 014.
