Hi there, > Hello so I have been trying to get cave to work on my Mac for a bit and it > won’t work. It was > working the other day after I did all the steps to clear the old version and > redownload it, > now it won’t work and says I need to validate the EDEX server but it won’t > validate and > whenever I try to clear cave and redownload it it does the same thing. You do not need to re-download or install CAVE. However, if you had gone to our website, you should have seen the banner at the top of each page notifying about the planned EDEX outage this weekend. (See attached). Please join our mailing list (awips2-users) if you wish to stay up to date with any possible EDEX outages or other important NSF Unidata AWIPS information: https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/support/index.html#mailinglists We had a known outage this weekend because of the cloud provider we host our EDEX servers on. We are about to send another update to the mailing list, but we are still waiting on the cloud provider to get things back in working order before we can turn our servers back on, but will do so as soon as we get the green light. We will update our users on the status of EDEX through the mailing list as well once everything is back online.
