Hi there, > Sure. I wasn't so interested in how to make a forecast or how to blend model > data, rather how > to take model grids (say, QPF) and to 1) draw new contours, 2) how to > modify/edit or adjust, > 3) and other basic manipulations that a forecaster might need when working in > GFE. Products can be loaded as contours using the Product Browser (https://unidata.github.io/awips2/cave/d2d-perspective/#product-browser). If you look under "Grid" you can see all the models that are available and then expand them to see which products. Once you find the product you're interested in, right click and go to "Load as >", "Contour" as shown in the screenshot attached. Then you can modify the display with the given options in the resource menu. Simply mouse over the resource in the resource stack (bottom right portion of the display) and right-click and hold to access the menu (see attached image). From there you may see options about line width, color, display, etc. You can use these options to change the display of the resource. Granted, all of these things are done in the D2D perspective. I have no experience with the GFE, so I can't say if this is possible there, but it is possible in D2D.
