Thanks for that.
I'm fairly certain whatever the exact issue is, is caused from the latest 
version of MacOS (14 -
Sonoma). Unfortunately, we don't currently have a test machine on this OS 
version, but I may be able
to get one in the near future.

The only other thing I could suggest, and this is only if you want to, is it 
looks like Apple put 
out a new release just before Christmas, version 14.2.1, which is slightly 
newer than the version
you said you were running (14.1.2)?  If you are okay with updating your 
operating system, I'd be
curious to know if that makes any difference?
If you don't want to update the OS, I also totally understand.

When I have a proper test machine I'll let you know if I make any progress. I'm 
sorry this is so 
annoying and makes CAVE unusable currently.
