[AWIPS #GDP-116565]: AWIPS II 20.3.2-0.4 - Gridded products and METAR data not loading

Hi there,

I'm not confident the suggestion I gave you earlier (running the .exe) will 
work, so while 
we continue to investigate the issue, I wanted to offer you an alternative for 
running CAVE.
Have you tried downloading and running the Virtual Machine we distribute?
http://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/install-cave-beta-v20/#method-2-linux-virtual-machine

This should work for you, with the one drawback that RGB satellite products 
won't render.
However, METARs, gridded data, and MRMS should work no problem in the Virtual 
Machine.

Please let me know if that would interest/work for you for now?
