Hi there, > I am running the most recent non-beta version of Cave and when I try to > display METAR Station Plots, > I get an error message: "Error creating plot with plotModel > stdObsDesign.svg". This happens whether > I connect to my own EDEX server, or to edex-cloud from all my Cave clients. I > use both physical Centos > 7 workstations and RedHat 7 Virtual Desktops. > Can you help? I'm sorry to hear CAVE is acting up. I have a couple of quick questions and suggestions. First a suggestion, have you tried removing caveData and restarting CAVE? http://unidata.github.io/awips2/appendix/common-problems/#removing-cavedata Does that make any difference? Next, a couple of questions: - Have you ever been able to successfully load METARS on these workstations? (Previous version of CAVE or some other difference) - What graphics card is on each machine? - What is the output if you run `which python` from the command line (` not included in the actual command)?
