Hi glen, > I’ve been meaning to ask you. Is there a way of > import more than one > perspective/display at a time? The reason your saved perspectives and displays disappear when we upgrade the version of AWIPS, is because that information is actually not saved in caveData (it's not saved locally to your machine, unless you use the "Save Display Locally" option). That information is saved to our EDEX server, and when we update versions of AWIPS we usually update to an entire new EDEX server as well. The good news, we still have the old server and may be able to recover your information. We just need to know the username and machine name on the computer you are using. > Also, will the Delete Display menu item be restored to functionality? (It’s > greyed out) I'm fairly certain the "Delete Display" menu is grayed out because you don't currently have any displays saved on the new EDEX server. Once we bring your old information over, or you create and save a new display from your machine, then that option should be restored. Thanks!
