> Hello, > > I would like to know how to make a cross section reflectivity but what do I > do in order to make it. > Hello, First I would suggest loading the radar data you want a cross section from. Then load the Baselines (Tools --> Baselines) Move the baseline to the cross section area you are wanting to view Note: You have to be localized to a CWA close to the radar you have loaded (http://unidata.github.io/awips2/cave/cave-localization/) Load the Volume Browser (Models --> Volume Browser) Along the top, click "Plan view" and switch it to "Cross section" Under Sources-->Volume select "Radar" Under Fields-->Other select "Reflectivity" (or which product you want to look at) Under Planes --> Specified select the Baseline line that you want to view from (it should show green boxes by the lines that have data available). Then you can click "Load" and a new tab should open in CAVE (it may take a few seconds for it to load). Initially it loads a contour, you can right click and select "Load as image" to view an image with colormap.
