Hi there,

Were you able to modify the file at 
C:\Program Files (x86)\UCAR Unidata\AWIPS  
CAVE\plugins\com.raytheon.viz.pointdata_1.15.1.202207261231\localization\plotModel\stdObsDesign.svg?

It seems the permissions may have gotten changed.  You may have to reset the 
permissions after
modifying it for the units change, so that CAVE can access the file again.
