Hi there, > Is there a version of AWIPS that runs on Centos 8 stream? There is not currently a version of AWIPS that runs on anything more current than CentOS/RHEL7. Even the National Weather Service (NWS) versions are still running on CentOS7. If you have a CentOS8 machine, I might suggest downloading VMWare player and then downloading our CentOS7 VM which has CAVE and python-awips installed. The VM instructions are the same as the VM instructions for native Windows OS: http://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/install-cave/#method-1-linux-virtual-machine The main drawback to the VM option is RGB products (mostly GOES RGB) will not render, because they require access to the host graphics card, and VMWare does not currently have this capability. Please let me know if that's helpful at all for you.
