In order to get the mile markers, you need to obtain the correct interstate 
file to then insert into the maps database (using the importMarkersInfo.sh) 
Unfortunately, we don't have these files.

> Also would it be possible to bring back the send button on warngen so long as 
> they are generated clientsided?

We have an agreement with NOAA/NWS to restrict the generation of watches, 
warnings, advisories
in Unidata's public version of AWIPS because we can't run the safety risk of 
people potentially
distributing their created warnings as official National Weather Service 
products.
