>And this just started happening a week ago. Before that the Conus view looked >like the WFO level. Sorry you are seeing this. Couple questions: Are using Unidata's EDEX to connect to? What version of CAVE are you using? Have you tried exiting out of CAVE, removing caveData, and restarting CAVE? (http://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/common-problems/#linux) What resolution is your VirtualBox? I was able to reproduce the image (although with the default colortable) on a VMWare and didn't notice any issues.
