> I was wondering is there a way to import archive radar/weather data to AWIPS > via NOAA big data, similar to how NOAA's WCT works? Hello, Technically yes, there are ways to view *some* data in archival mode in AWIPS, but it is not straight forward. We are hoping soon to put some documentation together on how to view some data. First you will need your own EDEX installed, then you will need to make some special configurations depending on the datasets. Model data is typically not one that is easily able to add, however radar, GOES R/S Satellite, surface obs, and warnings aren't too difficult. Is there a particular case/data you are asking about or just in general?
