>Just wanted to ask if you guys are aware of an issue with the comparison >heights families? The 850m, 700mb, 500mb, 200mb heights over the Pacific are >all not showing up on AWIP’s system. Hello, Yes, if you are plotting 500m heights, these are in AGL (above ground level) which requires ground (not over the oceans). You can plot heights at 850mb, 700mb, 500mb, 200mb, etc and those will plot heights (in decameters - aka geopotential heights) which do plot over the ocean.
