What do you mean, exactly, by not being able to retrieve the data/the data is not available? Are you loading data through the menus, product browser, or volume browser? Do you ever end up with any errors in AlertView? You can open AlertView by going to this menu option: CAVE > Open Open AlertView You might be on to something with the python removal though. Our current version of CAVE still uses Python2.7, so at the very least there are definitely some other features that won't work for sure. One alternative that might work for you... Are you able to install any kind of VM software? VirtualBox or something like that? You could possibly run a previous version of Mac (not super likely because I don't think they virtualize well) or an installation of CentOS7 and then run CAVE in that? One downside of running in a VM that we are aware of: it cannot render RGB products (satellite), so if that is important to you, this might not be a feasible solution. --Shay Carter She/Her/Hers AWIPS Software Engineer UCAR - Unidata If you're interested, please feel free to fill out a survey about the support you receive: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDIkdk8qUMgq8ZdM4jhP-ubJPUOr-mJMQgxInwoAWoV5QcOw/viewform Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: PEA-673558 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
