Hi Anthony, We're pretty sure it's because you're not using the proper driver for your graphics card. Sorry it's taken me a while to respond, I was trying to get more detailed information from our IT department on how to properly set the driver. One of the first lines from your glxinfo outputs is: > server glx vendor string: SGI And a little further down: > client glx vendor string: Mesa Project and SGI When I believe it should (or needs to) be: server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation client glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation I haven't gotten detailed instructions yet on how to go about removing/installing/ resetting the proper driver for NVIDIA. You're more than welcome to search around for it in the meantime as well, because I think that may fix the issues you're seeing. I will definitely write back if/when I hear more from my coworkers. Sorry about the delay. --Shay Carter She/Her/Hers AWIPS Software Engineer UCAR - Unidata If you're interested, please feel free to fill out a survey about the support you receive: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDIkdk8qUMgq8ZdM4jhP-ubJPUOr-mJMQgxInwoAWoV5QcOw/viewform Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: KJH-114168 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
