>Your sudo command worked! Thanks for that tip… > >[root@awips2 gempak]# which python >/awips2/python/bin/python >[root@awips2 gempak]# env|grep python >LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/awips2/python/lib: >PATH=/awips2/python/bin:/awips2/java/bin:/awips2/python/bin:/awips2/java/bin:/awips2/python/bin:/awips2/java/bin:/awips2/hdf5/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/sbin:/home/gempak/.local/bin:/home/gempak/bin When you sudo to root which command do you use? Do you run "sudo su" or "sudo su -"? If you don't use the "-" it will keep the awips user environmental variables. If you do use the "-" it will switch to the roots environmental variables which should not include any awips2 paths.
