Hi there, > i rebooted my laptop, but the variables disappeared when i > reopened the env. variables tab. i remade the variables (with the right > paths and all), tried pip install jep==3.8.2 and it gave me the same error You have to make sure after you add all the new variables, that you hit the "OK" button. And then open a new command window (type "cmd"+enter in the search bar to open a new terminal). The environment variables have to be applied. It sounds like you're adding them but not hitting OK. Or opening the terminal before you modify the environment variables. Can you close and reopen the Environment Variables window and still see the variables you've added? --Shay Carter She/Her/Hers AWIPS Software Engineer UCAR - Unidata If you're interested, please feel free to fill out a survey about the support you receive: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDIkdk8qUMgq8ZdM4jhP-ubJPUOr-mJMQgxInwoAWoV5QcOw/viewform Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: ABO-927340 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
