>Your response comes as a great surprise. We had planned on using cave remotely. >We tried running cave via console with graphic settings. It did not crash >cave, but >Maps still do not show up. This was not an issue for my dev environment. >When I ran cave in a dev VM, it had no issue running cave via SSH. >We have included an image of the console of the production machine. >Note that, although cave did not crash, no maps appear. I tried to start 2 >maps, both blank. CAVE is a very heavy graphics dependent software and multiple issues arise when running remotely. There are limitations even when running CAVE in a Virtual Machine (for example satellite RGB products will not load because of the graphics limitations). We have provided CAVE installs for multiple operating systems (linux has the most functionality). With CAVE running locally, it can connect to a remote EDEX.
