Yep - that is a way to do it as well without having to change the pqact.conf
file. By seeing it stored in /awips2/data_store/metar that means LDM stored it
correctly!
Since you got a label in the bottom right, that means EDEX should have ingested
and decoded it. How many frames does it say are loaded?
Right click and hold on the "METAR Mon 17:40Z 29-Jun-20" legend, scroll to
"Density", and select "Max".
