[AWIPS #UXT-928462]: Surface Ob question

Peter,

On the EDEX machine, if you go to /awips2/edex/logs that will be where your 
edex logs are to tell if it got ingested. You can grep for MWN01.txt in those 
log files from yesterday. Most likely it will show up in 
edex-ingest-unrecognized-files-yyyymmdd.log because MWN01.txt doesn't match 
what is in /awips2/edex/data/utility/common_static/base/distribution/obs.xml. 
Try renaming the file to the header "SAUS41_KGYX_241956". As long as it starts 
with SA or SP it should match.

Shay's correct, the "Surface-->METAR Station Plot" will give you a disabled 
resource error still because of the graphics card error, but you should still 
be able to plot Surface-->Temperature or Surface-->Winds.
