Hi Brian, That could most definitely be a problem (files owned by root). Everything in the /data_store/ directory should be owned by awips (and I actually think the group should be awips also, not fxalpha, sorry about that). Now, I would suggest running the chown -R command again, but I'm concerned that your ldm may be running as root and that's why the files are written as root. We can check this if you run edex status and get the pid for the ldmadmin. Then run ps -aux | grep [pid] Let me know what that output says.
