Hello Sean, > The installation was successful. The CAVE client > works as expected if it connects to the server at > edex-azure.unidata.ucar.edu<http://edex-azure.unidata.ucar.edu>. > However, when we change the URL to ours: http://localhost:9581/services, > the client cannot find the data. You can only connect to a localhost EDEX server if you are running EDEX services on localhost. Have you installed the "awips2-server" yum group? Have you configured EDEX services ("edex setup") and then started EDEX services ("edex start") ? > In LDM log, we found this message: > > ... idd.unidata.ucar.edu<http://idd.unidata.ucar.edu>[18190] NOTE: Upstream > LDM didn't reply to FEEDME request; RPC: Unable to receive; errno = > Connection reset by peer > > Could you please let us know how to solve this issue? The log message "Unable to receive; errno = Connection reset by peer" is not an error, but indicates that you are unable to request data from the upstream LDM on Unidata's IDD cluster. LDM pull access to idd.unidata.ucar.edu is reserved for education and research organizations, and not offered to private individuals or businesses. In those cases you will need to arrange for yourself an upstream LDM for data request.
