Whoops, I should have answered your question more thoroughly.

I do not know what a *minimum* is, just that with the Samsung 840, I am able to 
decoder all of CONDUIT (minus GEFS) plus NGRID, FNMOC and CMC feeds without any 
growing data latency.  The system runs a high average load and uses approx. 20 
GB of memory, but the data flow can keep up.
