Please remember, however, that since I am not the person who supports UDINITS, I might not be understanding what I am looking at enough to figure out what needs to be done. Questions: - is it imperative that the 'install' step be done (this may be obvious to users of the package) - are you going to be using the Perl interface to UDUNITS If you are not going to be using the Perl interface, then I suspect that you can safely ignore the error above.
