Greetings! Thanks for the kind words. Unidata is funded by the National Science Foundation to help make data available, but we do not have the resources to be a full archive center. Thus, we only are able to keep and host ~30 days' worth of data. For a more extensive archive of data, you want to look at the National Center for Environmental Information (NCEI): https://www.ncei.noaa.gov https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/products/weather-climate-models/global-forecast They maintain longer term archives of GFS, both in the cloud and available from a THREDDS server: https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/thredds/catalog/model-gfs-004-files/catalog.html https://registry.opendata.aws/noaa-gfs-bdp-pds/ Hope this helps!
