Hi Ron, re: > Thanks for your prompt response. No worries. re: > The link to the query form I am using is: > > http://opendap.co-ops.nos.noaa.gov/dods/IOOS/Daily_Verified_Water_Level.html OK. We do not operate this site, so we can not help if there is some problem in their configuration/use of our THREDDS software that is used to provide the data. re: > This form requests a 7 digit station number; "1612340" is Honolulu, HI. The > form also provides your e-mail address for assistance. Unfortunately, early versions of THREDDS contained code that would print: Send questions or comments to: address@hidden at the bottom of each page... we have gotten a LOT of support email because of this. Recent versions of THREDDS has this "help link" removed so that we do not get the questions that the organization running the site should get. Since your inquiry falls into this category, the best we can offer is advice to contact the maintainers of the site directly. Exactly who the site maintainers are is not known to me, but I would use the contact link listed in the root of the URL you provided: http://opendap.co-ops.nos.noaa.gov Contact Us: http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/contact.html re: > In case it makes a difference, I am using a MacBook Pro late 2011 model with > Mac OS X 10.7.5 and Firefox 17.0.1 browser. > > If this is a probable source of the problem, I could also try Safari Version > 6.0.2 (7536.26.17) or Opera Version 12.01, Build 1532. > > If the OS is a problem, I can also run this computer as a PC with Windows 7 > and Internet Explorer > > If there is a better way to access the database, rather than getting this > query form to work, that information would also be welcome. These are comments and questions better asked of the folks maintaining the site you are trying to access. re: > I am attaching an upper and lower shot of the query window as it appears > before clicking "Get ASCII" in case I am doing something unanticipated. > > Thanks again for your help. No worries, and I am sorry that we can not be of more help. I feel certain that one of the Users Services folks (mailto: included in the Contact Us link http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/contact.html) can help you.
