Is there something like this for the TDS WMS? I'm not as familiar with the ins-and-outs of ncWMS as one might suspect :-(. But I am sure that the TDS WMS does not currently have a way to set the ColorScaleRange default values on a per dataset basis. What is the default now? Just the valid range of each dataset? Do you know if ncWMS checks for any other attributes? Maybe some of those discussed on CF for this kind of thing (actual_min/max and such)? I'm CCing Jon Blower to get the conversation started on how we could expose this capability in TDS.
