Hi,

> Does THREDDS Data Server unconditionally require TOMCAT or are there
> any portings to other webserver - for example Bea Weblogic?

Our intent is that it should run under any Servlet container. However, all our 
testing is done using Tomcat.

If you try running with Weblogic, we would be very interested to hear about 
your experience.
