We will have a service where you register your catalogs, which will then be crawled and made searcheable, and other Good Stuff. Real Soon Now.

BTW, if you change your top level catalog element from:

<catalog name="SOURCES" version="0.6">

to

<catalog name="SOURCES" version="0.6"
 xmlns="http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/thredds";
 xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink";>

then the XML will be viewable in IE. Its a bug in IE, but probably worth the workaround. NN doesnt display XML at all.

The top of the IRI Thredds catalog is at

By the way -- how is thredds data discovery supposed to work, i.e. how is a server supposed to advertise its thredds catalog?
