This archive contains answers to questions sent to Unidata support through mid-2025. Note that the archive is no longer being updated. We provide the archive for reference; many of the answers presented here remain technically correct, even if somewhat outdated. For the most up-to-date information on the use of NSF Unidata software and data services, please consult the Software Documentation first.
Also, if this is a fresh reload, check if the firewall is running: systemctl status firewalld and is selinux enabled: cat /etc/sysconfig/selinux You if the firewall is running, start with that . . . disable, reboot, and see if that fixes the issue: systemctl disable firewalld If that does not, you can then edit the selinux config file, set SELINUX=disabled, reboot . . . in the end, you may need to have both of those services on, but that is a matter of writing rules for each. This is just seeing which, if either, are the issue.
