Hi Jim, Quick comment: On one of our data server machines, I setup (essentially) the same action for NBM text files as you seem to be using: your action: NGRID ^F(E|O)US1([5-8]) KWNO (..)(....) /p(NBH|NBS|NBE|NBX|NBP) FILE -close nbm/(\3:yyyy)/(\3:mm)/\3/text/blend/\5_(\3:yyyy)(\3:mm)\3\4.txt my action: NGRID ^F(E|O)US1([5-8]) KWNO (..)(....) /p(NBH|NBS|NBE|NBX|NBP) FILE -close /data/ldm/pub/native/nwstg/text/NBM/(\3:yyyy)(\3:mm)\3/blend/\5_(\3:yyyy)(\3:mm)\3\4.txt This allowed me to see that a) the files are, in fact, textual in nature (one of the questions in my previous email that I no longer need an answer for), and it will b) allow me to see the size of the files that are created on a machine that gets its NGRID feed from the IDD. Comparing the contents of your files against ours should help to answer whether or not they have the same content (or not).
