Hi John: Can the present netcdf-java library read OpeNDAP sequences?
yes
Even more importantly, can it send OpeNDAP relational constraint expressions to an OPeNDAP server and deal with the sequence that is returned? Similar question for Dapper nested sequences.
an ordinary NetcdfFile object cant do this, as relational constraint expressions arent part of the netcdf API. So short answer is no.
For certain things like Dapper, we are planning on mapping to our new point feature API, but we havent yet done that. Im expecting to start work again on point API in the next month or so.
