Hi Sepideh, re: > How can i open an area file in mcidas and then convert it to netcdf? The process of converting an image in McIDAS AREA file format to netCDF format is: - create an ADDE dataset for the image(s) in AREA file format - create an output ADDE dataset in NCDF format Please see the HELP or web page for DSSERVE for how to create an output NCDF dataset - IMGCOPY from the input dataset to an element of the output dataset. The format conversion is done transparently by the ADDE servers.
