Hi Robert,

Quick update on mods to the LEO application in McIDAS...

The updated LEO source code that Russ provided to me yesterday
will be rolled into a Unidata McIDAS-X addendum/upgrade next week.
My objective is to incorporate the SSEC mods used to create the
new v2009.1 into a new Unidata release.  Since there are no major
changes, my procedure for creating a Unidata v2009 release should
be much simpler than in past years, so I should have a new release
available by the beginning of July.

Here is a snippit from the email that Russ sent me yesterday:

As you can see from this comment, the user will need to download
two line elements for the satellites being used and store them
in an ADDE dataset named POESNAV/TLE.  As part of the process of
getting my McIDAS release ready for the community, I will investigate
creating and hosting the POESNAV/TLE dataset on the community
ADDE servers that are under my control (e.g., adde.ucar.edu,
adde.cise-nsf.gov, idd.unl.edu, etc.).
