[McIDAS #BOM-351955]: U Averio access to Unidata McIDAS-X

Do you mean download?  If you have already downloaded an older
release of the package and are having problems building it, please
open a new inquiry by sending a new email (not a reply to this
one) to address@hidden.  In that email, please
include specifics on:

- the operating system you are trying to install on
- which compiler set you are trying to use
- which version of Unidata McIDAS you have tried to build
- the build output that shows that there was an error
- the end of the ~mcidas/mcidas2007/src/makelog file that shows
  the error (the entire file is not needed; just the end that
  shows where the error occurred)

If you have tried building Unidata McIDAS-X and the build failed, then
the most common problems are:

- lack of a full development environment
- not setting up the shell-specific file (e.g., .cshrc, .bashrc, etc.)
  to source the defines included in the distribution that setup needed
  environment variables
- trying to build on a platform that has not been used previously and
  there being some unknown problem there
