I believe that the task you have in mind is to convert binary TeraScan data to McIDAS format; true? If yes, there is no example of how to do this. There have been many efforts at creating a TeraScan TDF file to McIDAS AREA file converter over the past 10 years, and none has progressed to the point of being generally useful. However, if you have good experience with the TeraScan TDF format and the development library provided with TeraScan, you may be the correct person to tackle the conversion job. Please let me know if your objective is to convert TeraScan image data in TDF format to McIDAS. If it is, I will detail the various McIDAS documents that you will need to become familiar with for your development efforts. >Best Regards >Asiel Bomfin Junior >INPE/CPTEC >Brazil Cheers, Tom Yoksas -- NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
