Earle,

>Thanks, Tom.

You are welcome. I am glad things are working out for you.

>I now have everything working, and the data are so far without gaps which

Excellent!

>How do I set it up that it starts again when I reboot?
> --A batch file kicking off the necessary DATALOC commands?

The DATALOCations you set are persistent. They don't have to be set
each time you restart McIDAS. The DATALOC definitions should be saved
into a file named MCTABLE.TXT which should be located in your \mcidas\data
directory.

>Is it okay to get all the data from adde.ucar.edu?

Yes. It is possible that some point in the future we may ask you to
move to a different machine, but for now keeping accessing adde.ucar.edu
(also known as motherlode.ucar.edu and zuul.ucar.edu).
