19990720: getting McIDAS-OS2 7.50 working on OS/2 (cont.)

Earle,

I logged onto tornado and poked around quite a bit.  The only thing that
I could come up with was:

o possible imcomplete REDIRECTions for XCD data files (not likely)
o XCD *.XCD file not in same directory as MD files
o some *.IDX files were in c:\mcidas\data and some were in d:\data

I:

o created a REDIRECTion template file: c:\mcidas\data\unitest.nam
o restored the REDIRECTions, but these will not take hold until
  the XCD supervisory routine STARTXCD is stopped and restarted
o I tried to stop and restart the XCD ingestion (stop by killing
  processes), but I am unable to get them restated correctly

Could you please exit your McIDAS session and reboot your machine.
After this, we can see whether or not the changes I made did any good.
(I am a little in the dark here on OS/2 problems since Don was in
charge of it, and he is on travel until the 27th.).
