Ah, don't sell yourself so short.  The files actually do not exist.
Tom was updating his pages, but I guess he forgot to create the links.
These pages would just give a little more detail on the problem.
The mcupdate.tar.Z file is a cumulative update, so all addenda are in
that file.

Actually, the last (first) one to work is November 7, 1998

Anyway, just click on the link below the list of addenda for mcupdate.tar.Z
or follow the instructions on the Update Procedure page
(http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/mcidas/mcx/mcupdate.html ).
Use umcidas/XXXXXX! for the username/password.
