[LDM #KGU-479417]: More error messages in LDM-6.13.17

Gilbert - not exactly the same errors, but similar.  Steve and I are in the 
Unidata Users/Advisory Committee today and tomorrow, but I was logging into our 
servers to see if we have a time sync on when you saw your errors and when we 
see ours.  I apologize for the delay, but we had been working over the weekend 
to trap, debug, and hopefully resolve.
