> It's a VM with 16GB RAM and a single CPU. It's likely that a VM, so configured, can't handle 76, simultaneous, downstream LDM processes -- at least not in a reasonable amount of time. We supply that number of downstream sites here, but the computer has 196 GB of memory and multiple CPUs. We suspect that your VM is thrashing. Can you make the VM larger? Also, would you please send us the output of the command "ldmadmin config". > We're migrating from a RHEL5 VM with the same specs; no problems on the > legacy server. We are not seeing any larger than normal loads. We've let > "ldmadmin stop" sit for several minutes and the prompt never comes back and > the processes continue to run.
