[LDM #FPM-496740]: gempak decoders failing

David,

I that case, I strongly suspect that the operating-system is unable to execute 
the programs in question (i.e., dctaf(1), dcgrib2(1)) or that they immediately 
fail for some reason. Could the GEMPAK environment not be set up for them?

> Yes the LDM user has full permissions to /home/ldm/var/logs,I can touch, rm, 
> etc. manually as the ldm user.
