Shengting, The LDM should be installed in the home-directory of the LDM user. If that user's home-directory is /home/ldmd, then just follow the instructions at <http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm/ldm-current/basics/source-install-steps.html>; otherwise, I recommend making that directory the home-directory. > Thank you for your prompt response. The reason I used these option is that > the system I installed the LDM on has no memory space left on /usr and > /usr/local. When I typed ./configure --help, it showed those options.
